MK 701 300fr 29 Sep 71 Testudo sp. Turtle is in a painting by Pieter Claesz. This is the single stamp from the s/s listed by Scott as #292F (q.v.), but there is a discrepency in the issue dates.
SC 150f 1996 Unidentified Tortoises s/s w/ same two stamps that appear on Scott Chad 682. Background of sheet and margins of stamps are pale green. Stamp margins on 682 are white. This s/s is footnoted by Scott but is not assigned a separate number.
SC 292 F 300fr 01 Apr 73 Testudo sp. Small tortoise in painting by Pieter Claesz on a single stamp s/s. Issue date has also been reported to be 15 Feb 73 and 29 Sep 71. This s/s was formerly listed as Scott Chad 7306. It has been renumbered to 292F. It contains the stamp listed by Minkus as #701, but there is a discrepency in the dates, which needs to be resolved.
SC 682 150f 1996 Unidentified Tortoises Two different stamps w/ a label between them. One (682a) shows children looking at tortoises. UNICEF symbol on label and on both stamps.
