Or, it may be a Cinderella that wasn't authorized by either country.

500f 2007 Geochelone elephantopus Individual stamp w/ turtle from sheet of eight. Tortoise facing 3/4 left. Stamp inscribed "Chelonoides nigra" the new genus and species to which this tortoise has been refered by some taxonomists. Country name inscribed on stamp is "Republique du Congo" This could represent the People's Republic of Congo or the Congo Democratic Republic which are two different countries. Or, it may be a Cinderella that wasn't authorized by either country.

500f 2007 Caretta caretta Individual stamp from sheet of eight. Adult on land facing right. May be a dead, stuffed specimen.
